Study Visit of Chou University students from Japan to the Arbitration Council

Phnom Penh: On the morning of Wednesday, February 25, 2026, a group of 9 students (Including 6 women) from Chou University, Japan, led by Professor Maki Tomita, visited the Arbitration Council to understand the AC functions and procedures for resolving labor disputes in Cambodia by the Arbitration Council.
Mr. Koy Neam and Mrs. Ann Vireak, members of the Arbitration Council, warmly welcomed the visit and gave a presentation on labor dispute resolution procedure by the Arbitration Council. The students actively engaged in the session, raising many thoughtful and well-prepared questions about alternative dispute resolution, types of dispute and arbitral awards enforcement.
This marks the fifth collaboration between the Arbitration Council and Chou University, Japan, in sharing practical knowledge on labor dispute resolution procedure by the Arbitration Council with law students.
