Phnom Penh: On the afternoon of Thursday, February 22, 2024, a group of 8 students of Chou University, Japan (7 females) led by Professor Maki Tomita visited the Office of the Arbitration Council to study and understand the structure and process of resolving labor disputes by the Arbitration Council in Cambodia.
Mr. Men Nimmith, Executive Director of the Arbitration Council Foundation, warmly welcomed the visit and gave a presentation on labor dispute resolution processes, and the Arbitration Council. Many well-prepared questions raised by the students related to Cambodia’s labour had been addressed with high satisfaction.
It should be noted this is the 4th time that the Arbitration Council cooperates with Chou University, Japan to share labor dispute resolution procedures for students studying for a law degree.
