Phnom Penh: On 29 July, 2026, the Arbitration Council Foundation (ACF), in collaboration with The Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) and Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA) organized a workshop on Labour Dispute Resolution Procedure by the Arbitration Council for their members who are from Human Resource, Admin and Compliance units in total of 45 participants (19 women).
This workshop was presented by Arbitrator Mar Samborna, Member of the Arbitration Council, focusing on the following key topics:
1) Types of labor disputes
2) Labor dispute resolution mechanisms in Cambodia and relevant legal frameworks
3) Labor dispute resolution procedures by the Arbitration Council and case resolution statistics, and
4) The relationship between the Arbitration Council and the judiciary (courts)
Through this workshop, participants gained knowledges from experiences sharing on the process of Labour Dispute Resolution Procedure by Arbitration Council and Alternative Dispute Resolution in Cambodia.
