Phnom Penh: On Tuesday, 30th Jun 2026, the Arbitration Council Foundation in collaboration with Cambodian University of Specialities (CUS), organized a Workshop on Labour Dispute Resolution Procedure by the Arbitration Council, participated by 67 law students including 29 women.
Presented by Arbitrator Mar Samborana, a member of the Arbitration Council, the workshop focused on the following key areas:
1) An overview and the jurisdiction of the Arbitration Council regarding the resolution of individual and collective labor disputes.
2) The procedures for resolving individual and collective labor disputes by the Arbitration Council.
3) The relationship between the Arbitration Council and the Court.
4) Statistics on the resolution of individual and collective labor disputes at the Arbitration Council.
Through this workshop, participants gained knowledges from experiences sharing on the process of Labour Dispute Resolution Procedure by Arbitration Council and Alternative Dispute Resolution in Cambodia.
