Phnom Penh: On 11 August, 2026, the Arbitration Council Foundation (ACF), in collaboration with Cambodian Worker’s Right Protection Union Confederation and Peace Labor Union Confederation organized a workshop on Labour Dispute Resolution Procedure by the Arbitration Council for their members total of 32 participants (3 women).
This workshop was presented by Arbitrator Ann Vireak, Member of the Arbitration Council, focusing on the following key topics:
1) Types of labor disputes,
2) Labor dispute resolution mechanisms in Cambodia and relevant legal frameworks,
3) Labor dispute resolution procedures by the Arbitration Council and case resolution statistics, and
4) The relationship between the Arbitration Council and the judiciary (courts).
Through this workshop, participants gained knowledges from experiences sharing on the process of Labour Dispute Resolution Procedure by Arbitration Council and Alternative Dispute Resolution in Cambodia.
